This VHF radio based system has been used throughout the world for guided tours. The Infoport system is also used for simultaneous interpretation in countries such as Wales. |

The system consists of a wireless microphone and wireless receivers. The receivers use rechargeable batteries which are charged in a 20 way charger/storage case (shown above) allowing the system to be transported and ready for use within seconds. The tour guide simply distributes the receivers (worn like a stethoscope) to the users and talks into the microphone. The users then switch their receiver on and adjust the volume to a comfortable level. |

The Sennheiser Infoport tour guide system is multichannel allowing a number of systems to used simultaneously at the same venue without interfering with each other.
The microphone (shown above) is lightweight and easy to use. If the tour guide needs to be hand free, an optional neck sling is available.
The receivers (shown below) are user friendly, with a simple ON/OFF switch with volume control 1 and (optional) channel selection switch 2. |
